New Acer LoL.eu lineup formed; Citizen Wayne comes home

CitizenWayne comes home

Team Acer LoL.eu begins a new era, while simultaneously reminding us of a past one, as Victor "Acer | Citizen Wayne" Toll returns home to Team Acer, and will form a new lineup along with Solo Top player and previous team captain Thomas "Acer | Schabs" Vogel. The other three players in the lineup have yet to be confirmed and the team is actively seeking out players who can fill those spots.

Acer | Citizen Wayne first became a member of Team Acer in September of 2011, joining with his entire team, which included Acer | Schabs.  He departed from the lineup in early January of 2012. In February he joined Na`Vi and helped them Win the SK Trophy March and the Solomid EU Tournament Circuit. Acer | Citizen Wayne took part in the OGN league in korea during the last weeks and months and is still in korea because he decided to stay after Na'Vi was elmininated from the tournament. Last week he, along with the rest of the team, left Na`Vi and once more the door was opened for Acer | Citizen Wayne to wear the green of Team Acer.

Regarding his return to Team Acer Acer | Citizen Wayne had the following to say:

'I am extremely excited and happy about returning to Team Acer, the team that got my career in esports started and always supported me with help and advice in everything I did.

Being reunited with the good friend and great player that Thomas is, I couldn't imagine a better starting position for building a team that can have huge success in the long term and takes the right approach to professional gaming in LoL. I learned a lot as a player and captain in Korea and I'm confident and eager to put it to the best use as soon as possible.

A big thank you to the Team Acer management, I am very grateful for the trust and this opportunity and will do everything to represent Acer in the best way possible.'

 

Acer | Schabs gave his perspective too:

'First of all I want to thank my old team-mates. After the changes post-Spring season we really exceeded our expectations, as well as Team Acer's. We were leading the table for the entire season and unfortunatly dropped to #4, while still having the same amount of points after the last match day.

Nevertheless it is a big opportunity playing with Victor again and I'm more than happy that we can form this new team under my home banner of Acer. I'm really happy he is coming back and looking forward to building a competitive team with the focus on offline events.
