27.11.2012 - 16:41 CEST: After a pretty intense match, iG managed to run their early lead down the clock. Team Acer finished 3rd at this years WEM and takes home 8.500 USD for their performance. WEM is over for today but will be back tomorrow for the grand final between iG and WE, whose winner can be happy about 22.000 USD.
27.11.2012 - 15:23 CEST: iG took down LG-IM in the Lowerbracket which means our team will face iG for who will make it to the overall final, where WE is waiting. The match is about to start pretty soon, so make sure to be on the stream soon!
26.11.2012 - 17:26 CEST: That was quicker than expected. WE managed to get first blood on Acer's jungle Mundo and turned it into a second kill on the toplane against our Jayce. WE made the first drake quiet easily and therefore had a solid gold advantage through the early game. They knew they were in front and really played it down professionally but getting intelligent kills on Team Acer and also taking the first baron, which made it finally clear for them. Team Acer is now in the lower bracket final waiting for their opponent to be played out tomorrow!

26.11.2012 - 13:45 CEST: What an amazing match! Good game to LDG Gaming but our guys around Thomas 'Acer | Schabs' Vogel were stronger! After this heartattack-Baron fight we went forward and secured the game! We're top three for sure and now waiting to face the winner of WE vs. LG-IM. Go and get your VOD later at twitch.tv.
25.10.2012 - 16:03 CEST: What an intense game! Curse.NA took a decent early lead and didn't gave any blue buff to CitizenWayne on Gragas. Therefore Curse always had double blue on Olaf in the jungle and Morgana. When Curse took away Acer's blue for the second time, Amazing went in without any vision and therefore gave first blood to the Americans.
After some poke action, Acer's jungler showed his confidence and use his flash-ulti combo to pick one or Curse players out of the team and followed by his teammates Acer was able to ace and take the first baron of the game. Another intense teamfight for the second baron, where CitizenWayne had the hughe advantage of his Guardian Angel and therefore came back after his death to deal tons of damage with his over 450 CS Gragas. Schabs & Co got the momentum and brought the game to an end after they totally controlled the mid and late game.
In the end the teamplay was Acer's advantage, whereas Citizen dealed the most damage with his Gragas and Lyumi surprising with an oldschool build having bought Wriggle's Lantern and Aegis on his Ezrael. Team Acer is now in the semi-final of the Upperbracket taking place tomorrow.
25.10.2012 - 14:30 CEST: Even though SGS had a nice early lead in kills, LG-IM took the first drake. For the second drake we saw a long teamfight having 8/10 players under 300 hp after about 25 seconds until Anivia's egg was popped and LG's Diana was able to dive into the team and make a triple kill, which secured them a nice advantage for the upcoming teamfights plus the second dragon on top. LG snowballed the game until they were strong enough to take baron nashor and finished the game after some small fights.
Upcoming is now Curse.NA vs. Team Acer!
25.10.2012 - 13:30 CEST: A bit delayed and with some technical problemsat the event the second game finally started. SGS clearly wants to take out LG-IM's Midlane by having banned Katarina, Karthus and Orianna. Sadly, there are stream problems on the English stream at the moment.
25.10.2012 - 13:00 CEST: WE was able to take the win over iG in the opening match of this years World eSports Masters. In a close game we didn't see any special bans or picks. WE decided to go on a lot of burst damage and therefore picked Evelyn as AP carry. iG came out with Katarina, who is quiet useful after the recent buff.
Having shown some decent results during the last weeks in online tournaments, there is a huge challenge for our League of Legends team upcoming during the next days. Tomorrow, Wednesday 25th, the World eSports Masters officially start with the first round of their double elimination bracket. Yesterday, the bracket was drawn and the guys around Thomas 'Acer | Schabs' Vogel have to face one of the best American teams in the upper RO8: Team Curse.NA.
Sadly, in the nick of time the world champions, Taipei Assassins canceled their participation and therefore didn't force anyone the chance to mess with the world's best team. But, since the WEM will take place in China, some other teams from Asia will be on the court to hopefully bring a lot of action, new strategies and fun to the people at home. Whereas Team Acer is the only European team, World Elite competes with two teams and also Season 2 finalist Invictius Gaming is part of the WEM tournament.
The tournament kicks off tomorrow at 11:00 CET, since China is six hours ahead of the CET. WE and iG will play the opening match followed by Singapore Sentinels versus LGD Gaming right before Team Acer faces Curse at 13:00.
