Millenium's player started off amazingly winning on Cloud Kingdom and Ohana pretty fast contrary to TaeJa's general performance during the whole tournament. That wasn't enough though, as Team Liquid Pro's very own Terran star once again proved why he is considered a top3 player of the moment and took the following three maps namely Daybreak, Antiga Shipyard & Metropolis to conquer the total supremacy flag in Valencia, Spain. With this fabulous 3:2 victory over ForGG, TaeJa has granted himself a slot to Dreamhack Winter 2012 as well as a great 7,850 EUR cheque. For the second place, ForGG has been also awarded with a spot in Dreamhack Winter 2012 and also a smaller cheque worth of 4,500 EUR.

Dreamhack Open Valencia 2012
Following in the footsteps of last year's Dreamhack Invitational Valencia the crew behind Sweden's biggest esports events is returning to Valencia, Spain, for another tournament. This time the format is different, as rather than players attending based only on invitation the event is "Open", so anyone can theoretically enter. The top two finishers will earn a direct seed into Dreamhack Winter, the top 16 all earn points which can add up to earn them spots at the aforementioned event and of course there is the matter of the 150,000 SEK (~17,610 EUR) prize pool to compete for.
The structure sees two round robin group stages, taking us from 64 to 32 and eventually 16 players. The top two in each move on to the next stage, until only 16 remain and they make up the single elimination playoff bracket. The group stages and every round of the playoffs but the finals are Bo5, with the final being a Bo7 affair.
Team Acer will be represented by
Acer | Bly, who is in Group P, along with
ZyM,
DeathAngel and
MaSter. The Ro64 groups can be see here.
