GSL World Championship

The GSL World Championship will take place as an additional tournament to the IPL5 from November 29 to December 2 in Las Vegas. Two teams boasting probably the best players around the world will fight for supremacy and also for the prize cheques worth of thousands dollars. 

 

First team will be represented by Korean players only starring the seven best ranked players in GSL while the World All Stars team will feature two invited players and the other 5 will come from the community vote, followed by separate qualifiers. Practically there are two different polls: one for Europe and one for North America / South America / SEA. Top 16 players from each poll will have to play a qualifier from which the rest of World All Stars team players will be determined as follows: top 3 from the European qualifier and top 2 from the North America / South America / SEA qualifier.
