 25.08.2012 - 20:45 CEST: Acer | Scarlett has won the North American World Championship Series. She defeated her opponent Vibe 2-0 in a match that pitted the Canadian and American WCS winners against one another. It was a fittingly dominant end to a tournament she seemed unbreakable in, finishing with a 24-1 record. She takes home $24,000 and the adulation of the thousands of fans at Raleigh. Good work, Scarlett!

25.08.2012 - 17:00 CEST: Acer | Scarlett has torn through the upper bracket dropping only one map so far, and is in the final awaiting the opponent she will play for the North American crown.  Along the way Scarlett defeated theognis, Mystik, event favourite HuK, Insur, and ViBE. ViBE and IdrA are the two players set to battle in the lower bracket to decide who makes the final, ensuring it will be ZvZ no matter what.  The winner of the final grabs 24,000 USD and the runnerup takes home 9,000 USD, so Scarlett is assured a hefty payday when this tournament is over!

World Championship Series North American Championship

Team Acer's Star from the North, Sasha "Acer | Scarlett" Hostyn, is in action this weekend at the WCS NA championship.  Competing against the 31 other qualifiers from Canada, the United States of America and Mexico.  All are gunning for a hefty prize pool of 60,000 USD total, with the winner taking home a staggering 24,000 USD.  The top nine finishers will also qualify for the World Championship final, which Scarlett has already secured a spot in.
