19.08.2012 - 18:50 CEST: Mvp is the IEM VII Cologne champion, winning the fourth map on Metropolis. Acer | Nerchio is the runnerup. Mvp takes $6,500 and Nerchio $3,300.

18.08.2012 - 19:20 CEST: VortiX. This Spanish guy is at his first edition of IEM and didn't hesitate to impress so far. Not even the Korean star SuperNova has been able to win against him after probably the most intense game of this event. VortiX 3:2 SuperNova and the 'new guy' will play tomorrow the second semifinal against the best Terran in the world in the name of Mvp.
18.08.2012 - 18:50 CEST: Acer | Nerchio's has managed to defeat SortOf with a 2:1 score and will thereby play the grand final of SEE tomorrow against DeMusliM.
18.08.2012 - 18:23 CEST: Acer | Nerchio's opponent in the semi-finals of SEE will be SortOf, who claimed some revenge over sLivko in the quarter-final for his elimination at the Russian's hands in the main IEM tournament. DeMusliM already awaits in the final, having beaten out Grubby in the other semi.

Group C has concluded as Slivko won 2:1 against Elfi in the last match. Bomber finished first and goes directly into quarter-finals while Slivko (2nd) and Elfi (3rd) advance to the round of 12.
17.08.2012 - 15:05 CEST: Team Acer LoL.pl surprisingly lost the second game against SK and is unfortunately out of the tournament. The game looked very tight until SK's jungler Maokai stole a quiet safe baron from our team just to snowball Acer into their own base few moments after. It was the key of the game which ended with SK's victory.

It all came down to the final match against Kas and the Ukrainian managed to defeat him 2:0 to snatch the third spot. viOLet is 2nd and Mvp takes the top spot. That puts Acer | Nerchio (winner of Group A) and Mvp on opposite sides of the bracket and both in the quarter-finals already.

16.08.2012 - 16:35 CEST: Group B has seen an amazing match so far between two of the favourites here in Cologne: the LGIM teammates NesTea and Mvp. The second one came out victorious in convincing fashion with a 2:0 score. The fifth match of group B is now being played between NesTea and viOlet.

16.08.2012 - 13:40 CEST: SortOf has gotten the better of Acer | Nerchio 2:1, putting our Polish Zerg in third, but only on map difference. He is currently tied with the other three players below him in terms of win-loss record. He may face a tough road as the last one of the two games of his group stage campaign remaining will be against the top player in the group: ForGG!
16.08.2012 - 13:33 CEST: Acer | Acey has lost his final group game, 1:2 to juiCeyyy, so we won't be seeing him in the playoffs.
16.08.2012 - 13:28 CEST: Elsewhere at Gamescom the WCG Germany FIFA qualifier is underway. There have been five games played so far:
In Group A Acer | poldi top lost his opener to Schiewe 0:4 and won his next match 1:0 over marv. Also in the same group Acer | Raschek won his opener 3:2 over marv but then lost to Schiewe 2:6.
In Group B Acer | deto has a win and a draw, tying Acer | Acey 1:1 and beating juiCe 1:0. As mentioned Acer | Acey has a draw, but his comes with a loss too, against Toto 1:2.
