Between yesterday and today, our own Acer | Scarlett represented herself very well in the WCS Canada Finals. Acer | Scarlett came out on top of all the players throughout the tournament. Only having dropped one map against Ostojiy, she went on to show the world that she wasn't just hype, but more of a serious contender to all the Starcraft Competition.
Starting out against a rough path in the brackets, that didn't stop her from being able to take down Canada's big names such as Huk and Drewbie. In the end, this was a great and glorious victory for her and she also earned herself about 6,000USD from coming in first place.

Acer | Scarlett's run in the bracket phase was not a fluke and she was certainly living up to the hype that everybody was creating about her. She didn't stop there, she kept her run going all the way into the finals:
Acer | Scarlett 2- 0 Ddoro - Winner Bracket Finals Game 1 Ohana, PvZ, Acer | Scarlett gets her third base rather than her natural. Ddoro walls off his ramp so that way he can't get a zergling runby. Ddoro tries to cannon rush on Acer | Scarlett natural, but she is able to destroy the first one. Ddoro is going to be making a warp prism really early into the game. He will be doing a senty drop in Acer | Scarlett third, but she's able to to hold and Ddoro continues to try and hold his warp prism. He wasn't able to hold once again and Acer | Scarlett just rolls over Ddoro and he GG's.
Game 2 Entombed Valley, PvZ, Acer | Scarlett and Ddoro are playing standard, Ddoro trying to wall off his ramp with a gate and cybernetics core. Ddoro does a very early third and follows with a lot of gateways. Acer | Scarlett see's the third base of Ddoro and drops a fourth base instantly. Ddoro just adding more gateways. Acer | Scarlett gets her fifth and starts her spire. Acer | Scarlett takes time to spread creep through out the whole map. The first battle starts and Acer | Scarlett takes out both colossus and moves back a bit in order to not engage even more. Ddoro tried to move back, but Acer | Scarlett ended up to move on and in front of Ddoro base and able to push into Ddoro natural. Ddoro immediately knows this won't hold and GG's!
Acer | Scarlett 2- 0 Ostojiy - Grand Finals Game 1 Acer | Scarlett tries to 10 pool all in, almost takes out Ostojiy, but ends up not able to take Ostojiy down in time, but has a great advantage even after failing the all in. Acer | Scarlett already taking her natural which it looked like she was behind, but made herself ahead. The game is now turning into a baneling/zergling match up and who can control the units better. In the end it turned out to be a Roach/Infestor game with Acer | Scarlett being able to take the win with her amazing micro.
Game 2 Acer | Scarlett and Ostojiy started the game very safe thinking one or the other is going to try a zergling all in once again. The game is starting standard with both players taking their naturals first and then moving on to roaches infesters, but with Acer | Scarlett being in defense mode and holding off every kind of attack that Ostojiy throws at her, she is able to tech into Ultralist/infesters and annihilate her opponent to take the last game and win WCS Canada.
Congratulations Scarlett, you deserved the win and the title of being the best Canadian Player! Scarlett was interviewed by Gamespot about her win.
