18:25 CET: The Job is done: Congratulations to Kai "Acer | deto" Wolin, after a fantastic 3:1 in the finals. Kai is the winner of the FIWC three nation finals, and now is the German representative for the FIWC Grand Final in Dubai. Again he dominates his opponents and after the 1:1 from the group match, he defeated Daniel Tissarek very clear. 

18:00 CET: The semi final  is done:  Acer | deto has now the great opportunity to win the ticket to Dubai; just one game is missing. After a demonstration of Fifa Acer | deto won his semi final 4:1. During the game he was never in danger to  lose. We hope that he will keep this performance for the final. His opponent will be Daniel Tissarek; during the group stage they played 1:1.

17:20 CET: Acer | deto made it again. After 60 real exciting minutes without goal, Filip Liesener could score to get in the front with 1:0. But within the last five minutes Acer | deto scored twice and could swap the game. Congrats for this famous coup and now good luck in the semi final.

16:30 CET: Acer | deto will face Filip Liesener in his upcoming quarter final; it will start soon.

16:00 CET: The group stage is already done. Acer | deto placed 2nd in his group undefeated after 4 matches. Acer | poldi10 could not make into the quarter final. After he lost his 3rd match again, very unluckily, he may be out of the tournament. You can find the detailed group results here. 

15:11 CET: Great job by Acer | deto, he won the important match against Reinhardt Krause and now advances to the TOP 8, which means: it's time for play-offs! Meanwhile, Acer | poldi10 lost his second game unluckily in the last 15 minutes and has to wait for the other results if it's still possible to advance.

13:05 CET: Team Acer sends you a lovely 'welcome' from the 'Home of FIFA'  in Zurich, Switzerland. The weather is not that good because it is raining like hell, but this is not in the middle of the focus for today. The 20 finalist for today's FIWC three nation final just arrived at the venue and the tournament will start in a couple minutes. We will update you not only about the results of our representative's Sascha 'Acer | poldi10' Schumacher and Kai 'Acer | deto' Wollin, we will give you as well all the other results from the rest of the matches.  

Team Acer's Sascha 'Acer | poldi10' Schumacher and Kai 'Acer | deto' Wollin will fly to Zurich to take part in the three nation final of the FIWC.

Players from Germany, Austria and Switzerland played offline qualifiers and online leagues during the last weeks and months to get one of the 20 slots for the three nation final in Zurich, Switzerland. The tournament will take place in the 'Home of FIFA', which was built in 2007 for being the new headquarter for the FIFA. The FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) is responsible for the world and European championship of soccer for men and women.

Five offline qualifiers took place in Germany and Team Acer decided to send some players to the tournaments. Fortunately, two of our players managed to come out on top of two of the best-of-one and all-day-long tournaments in Hamburg in Cologne. That's why we are proud to be represented by our world champion Acer | deto and Acer | poldi10, who showed that he is in a good shape during the last weeks.

During the last days EA Sports announced the groups and as everybody is able to see, both of our players were drawn into the same group. Since only the first two of every group will advance, the chance are not that high, but our players nevertheless feel confident about their skill.

The official kick-off is Saturday, 12:00 CET. Team Acer will be in Zurich for bringing you some live coverage home - so make sure to stay tuned and cheer for our players!
