Mondragon qualified for EPS

Christoph 'Acer | Mondragon' Semke managed to qualify for the next EPS season in 2012 by reaching the final of the relegation.

After achieving decent results in the ESL Amateur Series, he qualified for this relegation where you can advance to the ESL Pro Series Summer Season 2012. In round one, he had to face DarKFoRcE, the toughest opponent possible according to Acer | Mondragon, who has been beaten by him with a score of 2:1. Then he played Cola and beat him with a straight 2:0 win to advance to round 3 of the winner bracket, where HasuObs was waiting for him. Unluckily, Acer | Mondragon came off second best there and lost 0:2, which delegated him into the loser bracket, where DarKFoRcE was waiting for him. This match would decide the second promoted player with HasuObs. Acer | Mondragon was able to repeat his victory of round one, this time even with a straight 2:0 to qualify for the ESL Pro Series.

'I didn't expect to beat DarKFoRcE in the first round neither to actually qualify for EPS. Somehow I had a lucky run throughout the entire tournament and managed to beat DarKFoRcE another time in the loserbracket final after losing to HasuObs in the winnerbracket final. I'm looking forward to seeing what EPS is gonna bring for me!'
