4. Nerchio vs TLO, Quarterfinals, Game 1

In an epic twenty-five minute game on Ohana, the two players made it to the late game for an interesting high-stakes decider of the series.

[19:27] Nerchio makes use of a sneaky Roach attack to take out a TLO base, then mounts a fantastic defence at his fourth base to stabilise and eventually take the map in a back-and-forth contest.

Conclusion

While all his moments in-game were great, perhaps my favourite moment of DreamHack Bucharest was Nerchio's reaction to being handed a bottle of champagne. Did he pour it all over himself, spitting the drink like a pirate? No. Did he spray it across the audience, delighting fanboys and fangirls alike? No. Did he take a sip, put it down and then leave the party? Yes. Very yes.
