Here we sit down with Jakub 'Acer | DOTA PRO' Grzegorzewski and ask him questions about the newest team to join Team Acer.

DOTA PRO, welcome to Team Acer! How has the team been treating you?

Jakub 'Acer | DOTA PRO' Grzegorzewski: Hello, good question. We are like family, we joke around, sometimes flame, but we get along with each other.

Why did you decide to join Team Acer over other teams?

DOTA PRO: Team Acer is just great for us. They give us everything we need to improve; I’ve also met so many great people.

Your nickname is “DOTA PRO”, but you are playing League of Legends. Why have you not changed your name?

DOTA PRO: I started playing in June of last year and I thought that LoL would only be casual for me, so I chose DOTA PRO as a nickname. When I started professional gaming, it was too late for me to change because too many people knew me by this name.

So how long were you playing DotA for, if you consider yourself to be a pro? Were you on any teams?

DOTA PRO: I was playing DotA for four years. I don’t consider myself as a pro because I didn’t earn any money from it. I played in Universal Soldiers and Infamous.

On Reddit there was a post about Team Acer picking up your team. There was a lot of people commenting about you. How do you think you got to be famous even before coming to Team Acer?

DOTA PRO: I think I got famous because of high Elo streams, but I wouldn’t say famous. I would say that I became known; I’m not famous yet (laughs).

Do you stream? How often do you do it?

DOTA PRO: I don’t stream because my internet connection is really slow, but I’m looking for a faster one. There may be a chance that I will stream in the future, I just need to find a better connection.

How did you meet your teammates?

DOTA PRO: I met them on Polish DotA Leauges or on Polish DotA rooms, but I can’t remember correctly, it was too long ago. We didn’t start playing League of Legends together, but I started to play because they did. I made a team with them because they have a lot of free time to practice. We have only just started, so we can improve at a good pace.

I see that you are playing Ranked 5’s with your team often. What was the name of your team, and how long were you playing previous to being picked up by Team Acer?

DOTA PRO: Previously, we were playing under the Time Out name. Before joining Team Acer we were playing for 3 weeks together.

So on the Team Acer website, people could read that the team is full-time. Why did you guys decide to play full-time, and what does full-time mean to you?

DOTA PRO: We decided to play full-time because we want to be on top. Full-time means that we are playing 6-8 hours a day.

The community thinks that the team has a lot of potential because some people have seen what you are capable of in solo queue. How does it feel to be hearing about these comments?

DOTA PRO: I feel great hearing that, it’s motivating.

Which teams do you feel are going to be your greatest rivals?

DOTA PRO: I think that it will be AL, M5, and CLG.eu. I don’t know about NA or Asian teams because I have not played against them yet, but TSM, CLG.na, and the Koreans look scary.

Do you feel like your team has a playstyle that you enjoy? (Poke composition, AoE, etc.)

DOTA PRO: I think we will need more time to discover which playstyle fits the best for us. For now, we are pretty much playing everything.

It sounds like Team Acer.pl is getting off to a good start. Do you have any last words or shoutouts?

DOTA PRO: Thanks, I’d like to give a shoutout to the whole Team Acer community and our fans!
